November 23rd & 24th
Friday the friendly islanders gather together for the signature lighting of the Christmas tree at local Inn nearby along with fireworks, we can provide you directions. It is the perfect way to start off the Holiday Season!

Weekend 2
November 30th & December 1st
Friday the Captiva Island Inn guest will be right in the middle of the action! The hotel is sponsoring a concert in the village center, with shops and restaurants surrounding the area, there will be plenty for the family to enjoy!
Saturday Captiva will be having an Junkanoo Parade and boat Parade, the locals are a creative bunch who enjoy creating a fun environment for tourist who visit the island. Islanders will meet later at the Keylime Bistro for the award ceremony for the winners of the boat parade at 8:30, with live music this will be an exciting event!

Weekend 3
December 7th & 8th
Friday Captiva's sister Island Sanibel will be having their Luminary, fun family event with winding side walks lit by candlelight and various restaurants, artist, and other venders stay open late.
Saturday is really a fun day for families, cheer on from your porch or favorite restaurant as silly Captivians and tourist decorate golf carts to celebrate their business or personal uniqueness. This is followed by the Captiva Luminary where you can sample local restaurants delicacies and enjoy live music.
